At a first glance, you’d probably think these photos were done in the middle of summer. Surprise, we did these in FEBRUARY! It was so cold, but Emma is such a natural in front of the camera that you’d never know it was 50 degrees when we shot this To top it off, when we got to the park, it was so windy. We got all the dress shots done in about 20 minutes! Definitely record timing, and I love how everything turned out.

I can’t thank Emma, her dad Luca, and Meetu enough for braving the chilly conditions and making this concept a reality.

This was my first time styling a shoot myself, and I love how it turned out! My biggest takeaway: be more mindful of wardrobe choices based on the season. Silly me – I just assumed that the Bay Area had perfect weather year-round. Lesson learned!
