With Christmas upon us, my retainer clients often use their last photoshoot to create holiday content! Pyarful was no exception, and this South Asian Christmas photoshoot was one for the books.
From the delicate hand-drawn illustrations on the Christmas gift cards, to the intricate patterns on the mugs and the warm glow of the candles, each piece was a work of art in its own right! As Krisa, Pyarful’s founder, said, Christmas is the only time of year that dark green works in their color palette, so I went alllll out when it came to incorporating Pyarful products into holiday decor.
This was actually a remote photoshoot. Meaning, Krisa dropped off the products at my studio, gave me a brief overview of what she was looking for, and I delivered the photos the next week! If you’re too busy during the holiday season, you don’t have to be on set to make the photoshoot happen.
For the design of these sets, I used gold decor to accent the gold foil on the products. I also incorporated fairy lights to bring in that extra bit of holiday whimsy. ✨ My studio, The Sunlight Space, was already decked out in holiday decor, so we didn’t need a prop budget. For last minute Christmas props, I like to head to Michaels, TJ Maxx, and Target.
I always have a blast working with Pyarful, but I’m even more excited to share this Christmas set! Blending different cultures is such a beautiful thing. So deck the halls, grab a mug of hot cocoa, and get ready to be transported to a world of South Asian holiday cheer. 🎄🎁💌
