At a first glance, you’d probably think these photos were done in the middle of summer. Surprise, we did these in FEBRUARY! It was so cold, but Emma is such a natural in front of the camera that you’d never know it was 50 degrees when we shot this 😅 To top it off, when we got to the park, it was so windy. We got all the dress shots done in about 20 minutes! Definitely record timing, and I love how everything turned out.

I can’t thank Emma, her dad Luca, and Meetu enough for braving the chilly conditions and making this concept a reality.

This was my first time styling a shoot myself, and I love how it turned out! My biggest takeaway: be more mindful of wardrobe choices based on the season. Silly me – I just assumed that the Bay Area had perfect weather year-round. Lesson learned! 😂
