These are the words that come to mind when I think of Hana’s creative portrait session!

When Hana reached out and inquired about a birthday session, I was ecstatic. I was even more thrilled when she mentioned that this was her first time booking a photoshoot for herself. Hana has been on a self love and confidence journey for a while, and this photoshoot was the perfect way to celebrate her birthday.

When we first chatted, Hana told me about her vision for the photoshoot. She envisioned a natural setting, but was realistic about the possibility of rain. She was right – it ended up raining on her photoshoot day, so I’m so glad she booked Creative Space Studios!

From her vision, I built two different setups using the props in the space. To emulate a forest vibe, we set up an olive seamless paper backdrop. We then lined it with plants around the space, and I LOVE how it turned out.

As for the outfits, that was all Hana’s doing! Don’t you think she could be a stylist? I do. The two looks she picked out worked PERFECTLY in the space.

There was confetti, a dance party, and a whole lotta “yas queen” vibes the whole time. Here are a few of my favorite photos from her session!
