I had the pleasure of working with Divya a few months back. In addition to being a yoga instructor and author, she is also an engineering manager at a large tech company!
We bonded over working for the same tech company, too. Small world, isn’t it? In her own words, here is what Divya believes in, and why she booked an author and yoga branding photoshoot.
Divya believes that all of us have an innate desire to grow and experience life more fully and deeply. She believes that we all want to experience being abundant and have the ability to show up fully for ourselves, our loved ones, and our communities. However, no one teaches us this! No one teaches us how to distinguish between our mind, ego, and our heart.
The result of that? So much life energy and potential are lost in people leading unhappy, anxious, frustrated lives. Divya cares because she had to go on this quest towards her own wholeness and finding home within herself alone for a long time. Along the way, she was fortunate to receive many guides and teachers.
Now, Divya felt like it was time for her to step up and do her part in sharing this work and supporting other women. Through her writing and yoga practice, she teaches women that we each are totally deserving and able to lead richer, more fulfilling lives!
