W-O-W what an amazingly fun couple they were for my first engagement session in California. Marie and Oliver met in high school and have been together ever since! When Marie first reached out to me, she asked if they could incorporate ice cream into their shoot, and of course I said yes! This is Dolce Spazio Gelato in Los Gatos, CA. These kind souls offered to buy me a cone, but I regrettably declined – I don’t think I could function properly while also eating ice cream 😅

For the rest of the shoot, we walked down the main street. I got there early to scout and found some nice spots! I really enjoy downtown settings because it’s a little more challenging than a beautiful landscape and they offer a variety of looks. By picking a diverse location, you’re really getting the most bang for your buck!
