Kathleen from was an absolute joy to hang out with! She’s a personal stylist and blogger over at Back Tu Basic. We met at B2 Coffee in the San Pedro Square Market. We met through Instagram – I think I found her while I was stalking different blogger hashtags one day.

One thing we talked about is how meeting people and making friends outside of college is so different. I feel really lucky to find so many active creative communities in the Bay Area. I’ve met quite a few people through Facebook groups and Instagram! I’ve found that you have to be much more intentional with your time. In college, it was easy to meet people because you had the same schedule every week. After graduation, you have to make time to meet people. It’s weird!
